Ok not only do I stink at blogging….I need to update it’s look. It’s been this way for 2 years and needs to be brighter and better. If I liked it I think I’d blog more. But I’m not blog literate LOL I can change a header and the content…but that’s about it. Guess I’ll start searching forums on how to change the template and such. So be looking for a new look hopefully soon.
Yesterday I got some scrappin done. With Little Dreamer Designs having their Birthday Celebration I got a couple kits from there to play with and LOVED how they turned out. Today was the last day of the celebration. It’s not too late…get over there for savings and several new kits. The designers are FANTASTIC.

I was just on Hello chatting with a girlfriend asking “why is it we can’t stay up as late as we used to scrappin”. She says “we’re old”. hmmmmm. is 37 old?
Her and I used to do scrapbooking retreats on weekends when we paper scrapped. And we would scrap till wee hours of the night. Get up early and start again. Now I get all the kids in bed and by the time I sit down I’m BEAT! I accomplish one layout and I’m hitting the hay.
I think I’m purposely sleeping in tomorrow. It’s Saturday, it’s supposed to rain, my dh will be here to wake up with the kiddos, OH and I applied for The DigiChick and Sweet Shoppe Designs CT calls. And we find out this weekend so if I sleep the morning away maybe I’ll have something in my in box by noon
Last year when life got a bit overwhelming with family moving in and out and getting shared parenting custody of my 14 year old sister-n-law…I had to step down from many of my favorite ct’s. Like Sausan Designs, Vera Lim, etc. So now that life is about as normal as it’s going to get for me, I’m adding some CTs again. FINGERS CROSSED!!!

You all must remember the amazing layouts by Anna Russell in the galleries. Well she has since started designing her own line and it’s wonderful. SUCH fun stuff to play with that gives a unique twist to any layout. She’s selling over at ScrapArtist.com Take some time today to check out her stuff. Anyone else thought they had a certain amount in their checking and then go online and find that they’re wrong. Guess it would’ve helped had I balanced each month, but NOPE….me, I thought I was doing perfectly well making sure everything was accounted for. ARGH Now I am in balancing checkbook you know what. Well stink! Guess I’m stepping away from it to scrap a little and continue with it tomorrow. I so dread it. I’d like to keep just shoving it under the pile on my desk.
OMG is this kit wonderful. So unique. When I saw the bent spoon and the chipped paint papers. AHHHHH I was in heaven. This kit is a must have.
I’m still anxious to use that bent spoon in a layout…but just have to have the perfect set up for it. So I’ll be playing lots more with this kit. Here’s my first creation with it.

I got so behind in my blog it was embarrassing so starting all fresh and new. Updated my CTs and ready to finally try to get into this whole blogging thing. Well and I submitted to The Digi Chick’s CT call so needed to look good
Over the last year I got overwhelmed with trying to find a balance in my life with family, my business and passions. It stinks when there’s SO much you enjoy doing, but finding the time to balance it all is HARD. I added a partner to the photography business over a year ago and from then on it’s just been CRAZY busy. So I had to step down from many of my favorite CTs. A few that I really miss. But I had to get myself together. So now I’m just keeping the CT stuff at a minimum so that I can do my job for those I’m a part of without feeling like I’m letting them down.
Ok so need to get moving so I can teach my 14 year old sister-n-law how to digi scrap. ACK….won’t that be fun. I stink at teaching. I’m the type that rather just do it for someone than to teach them LOL
